Dodo Club is introducing yoga as another new activity to cater for the whole family.
This is because yoga is for everyone, offering physical and mental benefits for people of all ages. Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility, helps with back pain relief, eases arthritis symptoms, improves heart health, and relaxes you while helping you manage stress and sleep better.
In these testing times, participating in our yoga classes can also ease loneliness for many as you will make new friends at Dodo Club.Â
If you are new to yoga, sign up for a class at Dodo Club regardless of your gender or age. In fact, we are currently recruiting yoga coaches trained to work with older people as well, or those with physical limitations as any yoga pose can be expertly modified so itâs right for you. In time, and depending on uptake, we will run a separate group for seniors.Â
However, even if it helps in weight loss including abdominal fat, yoga alone will not get you all the cardiovascular exercise some of you need, so we recommend you combine it with our boxercise class for a better result.Â
