A quieter game of Football for the Forever Youngs!
Veterans football at Dodo Club is an inclusive, fun, sociable and slower-paced version of our Fast & Furious game. It’s aimed at keeping people aged 50 and Over and who have retired from competitive football, involved in playing football, to keep fit and stay active, improve mental health, and make new friends along the way.
However, our version of ‘Masters’ football is not exactly football at walking pace! You will still play the beautiful game but at a slower pace than our youngsters next door. You will be jogging instead of running.
After a 10â15-minute warming session and light jogging, you will play a short game of two 30-minute halves. This will be followed by a short warming down session before you leave.
Whether you’re looking to stay physically active or want to play again after a break for the love of the game, Dodo Club’s veterans football offers you the perfect opportunity to take to the pitch to play a light game among new friends.
